Yeah!
Few days ago I was so depressed and I cried. This gave me a sudden feeling of creating a blog for me to express my feeling. So, this is the first time I blog! Should I be happy? hmmm guess so.
It's Saturday today and everyone is so excited about tonight Cumberland Ball (our own residential college ball) which theme is English Garden. I am NEUTRAL as I am not going to the ball.
Actually it was a hard decision for me to decide not to go to the ball. At first, I wished to go because it was special as I had never been to a ball. However, for those who want to attend the ball have to pay NZD 40 for the ticket!
BUT For me, I not only have to pay for the NZD 40 ticket, I also have to buy a dress as I didn't bring any dress from Malaysia! =(
After a long thinking, I decide not to go because I want to SAVE money as I already feel so sorry to my parents because they have been using their own money to sponsor me to study in Dunedin, New Zealand. Let say If I went to the ball, I would have to spend 40 dollars for ticket + 100 dollars for dress which total is about 140 +, if convert to Malaysia ringgit it's like about 400. EH!! 400!!! It is a big amount eh!! With 400 I can go back to Malaysia to buy how many clothes or dresses??!
So, at last I AM NOT GOING!
Aiks.. Everyone is so excited and happy but my feeling is a mixture of sad but happy too. Sad because I can't join them =(, happy because I don't have to worry how to make up myself! =D
Sometimes I really feel that money is very important! Those who are rich can spend their money without thinking, but those who are poor have to be very wise and only spend money in necessary thingy!
THE END =P
Dear Apple/Joselyn,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading your blog. After reading your blog, I realized that you are a very sensible and reasonable girl and bit imaginative too.
so keep it up. I'm very much looking forward to reading your new articles.
wow... U cried because that you cant come for the ball right?
ReplyDeleteNevermind I bet you had made a wise choice, whoever having the chance will always be doing anything to make up his/herself to show-off.
well, i laughed half-way reading your blog because of your very-obvious malaysian slang and habit of converting currencies plus make a comparison of the prices. In some way, I think it will be good for you to reject to buy any unnecessary things. Learnt new things from you too. =D
Go on, and have a fight with tough life!!
Gambatte!! XP
